The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.-Maureen Dowd
Either we are so much afraid to speak up or we just accept anything that is placed before us.We would be making a great disservice to ourselves and generations after us without demanding we be treated they way we deserve.
Rosa Parks, the Civil Right activist refused to surrender her bus seat to a white passenger, spurring the Montgomery boycott and other efforts to end segregation. She Knew she deserved better and therefore demanded it .To day, the civil right campaign is gone, though there are few issues here and there. But there is another kind of struggle, not against governments or the societies but ourselves. The greatest threat we face now,is not from a far but near ;that is ourselves. We have to position ourselves to stop listening to informations that do us no good. You must stop listening to radio Programs that rather send your temperature very high, and stop reading the news papers that makes you see life bleak and bare.As someone who wants to be successful do not need such informations to operate.Your aim is to think of how you can improve your life and your generation.People say the world is becoming difficult but I also observe surprisingly, that throughout these difficulties, people are still making it ‘big time’.So we have no excuse that things are difficult, and then sit down and lament, and then we do nothing about our dire situation.Do you know that every year, 200 people become millionaires for first time in their lives? You can become one too,if you will put the right strategy in place. If we cannot go and ask those prospering despite our country’s economic difficulties,we can still observe them from a far and replicate what they are doing. You deserve the best, so go out there and prove what you’ve got.The world is tired of chit chats, they want real prove. You got to do something to improve peoples lives before you leave this terrestrial ball.Mandela had done it,Steve Jobs had done it,Gandhi had done it and many more, I cannot mention. So we are all waiting for you.Don’t settle for less,I ain’t either.
